We go to a Welcome Reception for the Centennial Celebration. Masses of people milling about.There are open tables with drinks and food laid out. Masses of Japanese food, especially sushi and yakitori. There's a fight for food with some shoving and pushing. I am always wary of the pushing power of older Japanese women when they want something. :)
The bus comes right before the overly muscled capoeira (African/Brazilian martial arts and dance) performer goes on stage! Rick lets me ogle while he herds everyone to the bus and I 
manage to catch the entire show. Rick, you rock!Random: Friends of Uncle Mike and Aunty Martha from California track me down! They are a part of the green lei tour and wanted to say hi. How cool is that?
